Additionally, the new kitchen layout is taking shape. Inside the now combined space, there is a low wall for the new island. The length of the island stretches the width of the two previous spaces. The remodeling crew will add sheetrock to the inside of the skeleton wall and will put beadboard on the outside of the wall.
In the next few days, there will be a framing inspection to ensure all the changes meet code.
